I am a filmmaker with a diverse world of influences. Born in China, but also grew up in England, Canada and the US, I bring an international and worldly perspective to all of my work. I currently reside in Los Angeles after graduating from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and now work professionally as a director, producer, writer, cinematographer, editor, and colorist.

My favorite directors are Stanley Kubrick, Woody Allen, PT Anderson, Zhang Yimou and Wong Kar Wai. My favorite film of all time is A Clockwork Orange. I like existentialist literature, and prefer a little bit of comedy in everything.
